A Chartered Accountant by qualification, Mohinder Pal Bansal has more than 25 years of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, Strategic Advising, Capital Markets, Company Portfolio Integration as well as post-acquisition performance management in India, Asia and Europe. He has advised corporates across sectors including logistics, auto components, manufacturing, realty, banking, education and IT and also a started newspaper for children called ‘Newshouse’ in June 1996 along with the promoters of Navneet Publications.
He is currently on board of several companies such as Blacksoil Realty Investment Advisors LLP, Concorde Motors India Limited, Navneet Learning LLP and others.
Kaiwan Kalyaniwalla, aged 58 years, is a Solicitor and Advocate of the Bombay High Court and a
Senior Partner in the law firm of Maneksha & Sethna in Mumbai. He has been in practice for over 35
years. Mr. Kalyaniwalla graduated from the University of Bombay in Economics and Political Science
and thereafter graduated as a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) from the Government Law College, Mumbai.
He was awarded the prize for securing the highest marks in the three-year LL.B. integrated course by
the University of Bombay.
Mr. Kalyaniwalla is enrolled as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales. He serves on
the board of public listed and private Indian and foreign companies and advises public and private
sector corporates, multinational banks, transport and logistics companies and some of India’s largest
property development companies and business houses. Mr. Kalyaniwalla is on the investment and
advisory committee of a SEBI registered real estate fund and NBFC and serves on the board of a SEBI
registered asset management trustee company. He is also on the Board of Trustees of public
educational and hospital trusts. His practice is predominantly in the field of corporate laws, property
laws, tax laws and general commercial and personal laws.
Mr. Kalyaniwalla has been an active member of the Managing Committee of the Bombay
Incorporated Law Society and served as its President for six years. Mr. Kalyaniwalla is a member of
the Academic Council of the Maharashtra National Law University.

In academia, he has held prestigious teaching and research roles. He served as Distinguished Professor – Executive Education at IIM Mumbai and currently teaches Business Ethics, Corporate Governance, and Sustainability at Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies. He has also been visiting faculty at IIT Bombay (SJMSOM) and Tilburg University, Netherlands, and is a regular guest faculty member at the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
In the field of international consulting, Prof. Chouhan worked for over six years with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) – World Bank Group. He currently leads Mahendra & Ardneham Consulting (P) Ltd, a specialized board advisory firm focused on embedding sustainability into corporate strategy.
Prof. Chouhan is deeply involved in institution building and social impact initiatives. He is Chairman of Mahendra & Young Knowledge Foundation, Vice Chairman of Global Advisory Board at the Asian Centre for Corporate Governance & Sustainability, and elected Vice President of the IMC Chamber of Commerce & Industry for F.Y.2025–26. He is also a former President of the Bombay Management Association.
On the global stage, he serves as a member of the Global Council and Integrated Reporting & Connectivity Council (IFRS Foundation), the Council for Inclusive Capitalism (USA), and the Global Board of the International Institute of Governance and Leadership (Amsterdam).
He has contributed to national regulatory frameworks as a member of the SEBI Committee on Corporate Governance and the Ministry of Corporate Affairs Committee for the National Policy on Corporate Governance.
Prof. Chouhan holds a degree in science and an MBA with a specialization in finance. Mr. Ram Walase, our CEO at Transindia Real Estate Limited, has an extensive experience of 24 years in infrastructure, real estate, project finance and consulting. Mr. Walase brings forth a leadership experience of 14 years at VBHC Value Homes Ltd, IL&FS, CRISIL Advisory and A F Ferguson. Over the years, he has been involved in conceptualising and delivering large scale projects such as greenfield cities, townships, sports infrastructure, commercial real estate, affordable housing and premium housing projects. In his consulting and financing roles, Mr Walase has been involved in conceptualising, privatising and financing projects in sectors such as seaports, airports, container terminals, bulk terminals and SEZs.
